How to clean your guitar! /how to play the guitar/

Absolutely necessary for you to know how to properly clean and care for your beautiful
instrument. Guitars are fine instruments and deserve the best care in the world, if you
want it to look good at all times and sound great as well. Cleaning your guitar is just
part of your life now that you have purchased one for yourself. It should be as important
to you as brushing your own teeth!

I always wiping the guitar down with something like a chamois cloth, after each playing
session, is all the maintenance my guitar will ever need. Lot of players have it
backwards...They use some type of fretboard and waxing lubricants, while abusing the wood
by not keeping the guitar in it’s case, where it should be whenever it’s not being played.
When I cange the string I like to clean my guitar. What is needed is that a damp rag. Put
some serious elbow grease into it though, wipe the guitar down thoroughly with a soft,
non-abrasive cloth but first put some elbow grease into it..and do this same for the
fretboard. You just have to diluted a little oil soap with water. That's amazing! Don’t
worry about the water becouse we talk about a damp rag, and also do not forget, not only do
you have to wipe down the guitar, it is also very important to remember to always clean
your guitar strings as well.

There is something you can purchase to help clean under your strings on on them, it is
called the swipe. By using the swipe on your guitar strings all around and under them, you
will be prolonging the life of your beautiful instrument and having clean guitar strings
will also make the tone of your guitar have a more crisp, tight sound.
You can remove the "grunge" off your fretboard by giving it a very light brushing with
#000, or #0000 steel wool. And if you want to use a polish, I recommend the best polish
what I ever use Martin Guitar Polish … but do not use on the fretboard! If you want
something for the fretboard, almond oi the best.. once per year.

Sound Relief raises more than $5 million for bushfire and flood victims

The Sound Relief concerts in Sydney and Melbourne have raised more than $5 million for the victims of the Victorian bushfires and the Queensland floods, organisers say.

A spokeswoman for promoter Michael Gudinski on Sunday said the 80,000 who braved the torrential rain to attend the show at the Melbourne Cricket Ground made history as being the single-biggest paying audience ever at an Australian concert event.
A
ll the money raised at the MCG will go to helping those who survived the devastating February 7 bushfires while the money raised at the Sydney Cricket Ground concert will be split 50-50 between the bushfire victims and those hit by the floods in Queensland.
pop princess Kylie Minogue, who flew in for the gig, wowed the crowd with an a cappella rendition of Peter Allen's unofficial anthem I Still Call Australia Home.

In Sydney, the day started with British group Coldplay opening the show with a set that included a guest appearance from John Farnham performing his hit You're The Voice.

In Melbourne, local rockers Jet opened the day before they flew to Sydney to play there along with Wolfmother, who also performed at both concerts.

Several classic Australian bands reformed especially for the occasion, including Icehouse, Hunters & Collectors, Split Enz and Midnight Oil complete with frontman federal Environment Minister Peter Garrett.

Know your guitar/How to play guitar/

When I was beginer I think there is magic way to learn to play guitar. But it's not true. First You haven't need ability...knowledge...you need just the emotion in your heart! This is the most important thing! And than you have to know your guitar...start by playing the easy chords then move on to the power chords or the sharp and minor chords.
Today I decide I will learn some ACDC songs in this week!

They're my favourite band!

How to tune your guitar/how to play guitar/

I suggest you tune guitar with the tuner and memorize how first string sounds. This will help you a lot, especially in the beginning. If you don't remember how it sounds, just tune it as close as possible, it be fine. Now that you have it done, let's tune the rest of the strings.
Standard tuning for a guitar is from low to high: E-A-D-G-B-E.

There are many way to tune your guitar. Probably the easiest and fastest is to purchase one of the many electronic tuners available. These cost between $10 and $35.

If you purchase a chromatic tuner for a little more money this will allow you to tune to any note in the chromatic scale which is useful if you get into alternate tuning later...

To tune B string(the second), you simply have to press it on the 5th fret and play separately or together with open 1st string till they sound same.

You should be pressed the Third string on the 4th fret and played along with 2nd string open. until they sound same.
Just turn the tuner on, strum the 6th string, and continue to periodically strum while adjusting the tuner knob until the string is tuned properly. Then move onto the next string.

The rest of the strings are tuned pretty much like 2nd one To tune 4th string you press it on 5th fret and play with open 3rd string till they sound the same. To tune 5th string you press it on the 5th fret and play together with open 4th string. To tune 6th string thickest) you press it on 5th fret and play along with open 5th string. Also, to tune 6th string you can play it open together with open 1st string, since they are same E note.

Veterans of guitar playing already know these things.
